1st session of the Open-Ended Working Group of the Global Framework on Chemicals (GFC OEWG 1.0)
The Global Framework on Chemicals (GFC) – for a Planet Free of Harm from Chemicals and Waste has been adopted by the Fifth session of the International Conference on Chemicals Management held in Germany, Septmeber 2023.
The first session of the Open-ended Working Group (OEWG) of GFC will be helnd in Punta del Este, Uruguay, from 24 to 27 june 2025.

This session will include discussions and work on the resolutions of this Framework, including those focused on implementation programs, the Global Alliance on Highly Hazardous Pesticides, the Global Framework on Chemicals Fund and the Gender Action Plan.
The session will be attended by ISPRA’s Dania Esposito and Camilla Di Marcantonio, respectively head and member of the Dangerous Substances Section (DG-TEC), as members of the Italian delegation together with representatives of the Istituto Superiore di Sanità (ISS) and the National Research Council (CNR).
